So I currently identify as non-binary and don't have any pronoun preferences. But I'm not sure exactly what my gender is... I was born female but I don't exactly feel like one, and I don't really feel male either. I kinda feel like both but neither at the same time. I'm also a feminist but I hate wearing girly things, especially dresses, but I do tend to dress a bit girly at times. I do like men's clothing and would prefer to wear that most of the time but I like my long hair and I wear makeup. It's all so confusing... I don't know what I am and it bothers me so much. Someone please help me figure this out... Please? <3

I know gender identity can be confusing sometime. I literally just had a freak out about my own gender Identity a week ago. I'm currently a questioning pangender person (it were I identify as all the genders in my culture at the same time). My advice is that it is okay if your not sure right now. Just keep question your gender identity and you will figure it out in time. Just remember you are the only person who will truly know what your gender is and whatever gender you are that you are valid and you truly do matter. Also if your not sure if nonbinary may I suggest genderqueer( it's an umbrella term for all gender identities that aren't cis) until you figure it out. I hope you found this helpful.
You're a girl. stfu with all this nonsense being brainwashed.
I know I am WAYYYY late to this comment and you probably don’t need it but I stumbled across it! You have literally described me!! I wear pretty feminine things but wish I could wear masc things and pass as masc and androgynous. The best advice I’ve found is (Ik it sounds cliché) if something makes you happy then that’s all that matters! to hell with anyone who is mad at how you express! We all interpret gender in totally different ways and therefore if you want to dress masc and do makeup and have long hair then go for it! if it makes you happy who’s to judge! Wishing you love and hope that you figured something out since you posted this!!
You don't have to dress androgynously to be nonbinary. People who are nonbinary can wear whatever they want! You can dress girly sometimes, masc. some other times, it doesn't madder. As long as YOU feel like someone who has no gender, you're nonbinary.
I just remembered something my dad told me when I came out to him (about my sexuality). He said that the people who he has found to be most content with their sexuality are the people who don't label it. I just though that might apply to gender as well as sexuality. However, I do like labels so I'm being a bit of a hypocrite here.
Sorry, I have no answers as I am going through a similar experience. I just wanted to say try not to stress about it to much and you have as much time as you need to work it out. Good luck! You are strong and amazing.
