*Warning: Transphobia!*
I wanted to share with you someting that frustrated me a lot. You see I don't want to think that my brother is transphobic but what he had said just made me upset. I was talking to him and I said something between the lines "Well, you are white cis man" and he asked what does "cis" mean. I explained it and he asked: "why do we call non-trans people "cis"? Can't we just call them "normal""?

Dude
I want to believe that he is just confused but he doesn't seem like he supports trans people at all. I think I'll do a proper research and explain to him how disgusting his comments are. I don't want to be friends with a person who says such stuff. What do you think?
I think I should do that. I'll do the proper research to have all of the knowledge and resources to not spread misinformation and then I'll explain the struggle of trans people. He isn't a bad or a stupid guy and if I show real evidence to him he will understand. It's still scary. He just treats every conversation like this like a fight or something. But I'll try my best. Wish me luck!

If you feel like it maybe confront him about what he said? Hopefully he'll realize what he said was terrible.
