My best friend has a shitty house life. She says she's been having what I'm pretty sure are panic attacks and whenever she has them she wants to get away from her house because her family gets angry at her for being upset for 'no reason.' She feels lethargic all the time despite getting sleep.
I don't know what to say to her. I want to help. She's not doing great mentally and online school is an asshole. Any advice?
I don't have any advice I just want to offer my support. I'm the same way with my parents they always trigger my suicidal thought and it hurts to be around them. I recommend for your friend to get a therapist to help her or use the suicide hotline (that what I use when my therapist is fully booked and I can't get a appointment) if she can't get a therapist. It provides a lot of resource that can help. Also maybe have a safety plan. It a plan you have for when you have a episode. It is basically just a self care routine you have prepared to help you when you have a breakdown. Mine is hours of Spotify playlists, hours of YouTube video's, and a notebook to write down the emotions I'm feeling so I don't suppress them. That may help
