I personally confided in people so they would understand why certain things trigger those memories. If you find yourself "reliving" what happened I encourage using music or fidgets to help work through it. For me I call them my episodes so having people around helped me. And I agree with Mikayla, advocating for consent really helped me too! I actually have written multiple essays on these topics that I've gone through to spread awareness. Maybe you could start a blog/podcast to talk about it too!

It can be hard to cope with, and different things work for different people. Personally what worked for me was 2 different things. Right away, it was talking to people and sharing my story as well as just taking time to myself. Later it was thinking about it and advocating for consent. I am really sorry that you're dealing with it and I hope your doing okay.
