So here is a little background: I was in this...community/school of sorts. Each meeting we shared stuff about ourselves. At the beginning of each meeting, we said our names, pronouns, why we were there, and the answer to the group question. Now at that time, I had a less than rudimentary understanding of the LGBTQ+ community. Naturally, I asked what pronouns were. When I knew what pronouns were, I answered like this: "Um...I think I'm a girl *gesturing to my body and padding it* *add a little bit of snark*" After I left the group, I immediately regretted what I said and how I said it because I learned more about the LGBTQ+ community. I feel really bad and I don't want that to happen again. Does anybody know someone who can teach me about stuff like this? I hear people say "educate yourself" but fail to give me a place where I can learn about it. Please, I never want what I did to happen again.

Hi my username is NoName. I am pangender which means I feel like I am every gender in my cultural simultaneously but I am thinking of changing my labels because I have notice sometimes I'm more connected to one gender than the others but I still feel all my other genders. I am panromantic, which means I am romantically attracted to people in general but I am only sexually attracted to men. For some people there romantic and sexual attraction are aren't connected. Just remember romantic and sexual attractions are not the same thing and their not the only types of attraction.
I just want to say thank you for trying to educate yourself on the Queer community and trying to understand us. If literally any member of my family tried to do what you are doing would have made all the difference for me because they would never make the effort to understand me and just made me feel ashamed for parts of my life for being Queer.
May I suggest watch some Queer/Queer friendly youtubers
Here's a list of few that I would recommend
Jammidodger
Samantha Lux
One Topic At A Time
The Queer Kiwi
Also recommend lgbta.wikia.org/wiki/LGBTA_Wiki . It has a lot of resources about the Queer community
You can also talk to any of us if you want and ask us any questions
I'll let you know if I find anymore resources.
I hope this is helpful.
