I am going to a virtual counselling session tomorrow, the first one (apart from the introductory). It will be my first time fully opening up about everything so I am a little bit nervous. Does anyone have any advice I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Hi! I'm also in virtual counselling (conectted to my school) and I think the best thing is to tell them all you want to. They really do want to help you, and telling them everything that is bothering you will make sure that they can do the best they can at that. Nothing you say to them is stupid, and they are there to listen. I hope it goes well! <3
I've been in counselling for a few months now and I've learned some things from it that might be able to hep you. For one, you've gotta learn to trust them and I've found the best way to do this is to think of them as a close friend you're venting to. Know that no matter what , you won't be judged and that it's a safe place. There are no stupid topics, just talk about whatever you feel like. Also there are no stupid questions, if you need advice on something or just want to ask a question then just do it, you will not be judged. And it's completely ok to be nervous, I still get nervous even after months of doing it. But above all just be yourself, try not to stress and know you can trust them, those are the most important things. <3
